Well, after squandering the 3 shot lead with 3 consecutive birdies on 12th, 13th and 145h, Ben Crane steadied with an eagle on the drivable par 4 15th hole and a decisive par on 18th at the Mines golf resort to win the inaugural CIMB Asia Pacific Classic, a PGA tour event.(first in ASEAN)

Luke Donald was left to rue missed opportunity with triple bogey on the 9th and driving into the water at the easy 15th hole. While Martin Laird joined in by fluffing easy approaches to 17th and 18th holes with birdies there beckoning. Notable that Robert Allemby (64) and Ernie Els (66) shot low scores in the final round but too little too late...

MISC Marine and Heavy Engineering stellar debut

MHB was the sentiment booster for FBM KLCI, but as the intraday chart shows the stags are cashing in on the listing premium...

Having opinions on the market? Read this "Are you a bull or a bear?" Having a strong opinion on the market can be a non productive negative endeavour.... There are plenty of market experts or gurus that go onto the financial news networks or newspapers espousing their views.... we always take note of these for their 'contrarian' or 'confirming' value. Jim Rogers is my favourite, as is doomsdayers like Mark Faber or Muriel Raubini... Oh and we are yet to see the red shoots of the double dip.

Well, KLCI closed above 1500 for the week and quarter, looking like 1516 all time high will be tested next week...

Bursamalaysia Derivatives launch of internet connectivity to OMS

Yesterday, BMD launched the internet connectivity to it's OMS (Order Management System). It means that Trading Participant wil be able to offer their customers direct market access trading through internet using a computer/notebook. A good development for the industry, what remains to be seen is whether the 'big bang' in volume will come...

20101028 1220 1 min fcpo futures, a nice uptrend.

Like to say something about respect for the market, which is always right. As traders we must show it the respect. Over the years I've seen testosterone/adrenaline pumped traders do things like making rude finger gestures at the trading screen, banging the keyboard down on the table, swearing at the screen and banging the table with the fist. There was one local trader, who shorted the fcpo early one morning. The market proceeded to trend up, and the trader averaged up short all the way.(and probably swore all the way) That was his last day trading as a local....

show the market the respect it deserves.
