POS Msia, continues the supr stock run up...

Harta Lega

Studies have shown that 80% of day traders lose money, one of the contributing factors being the pile up of commission charges from over trading.

It is always the case that no one takes the challenge to buy stocks or futures and sit on the position. Most want the easy way out and trade in a hypperactive fashion, like the drug addict, they simply 'have to trade'. Not seeing the forest for the trees...

CSL, another in the long line of China companies listing on Bursamalaysia to suffer from neglect....deliberate or otherwise by the promoters.

A case of caveat emptor for anyone wanting to invest on these IPOs...

Was talking to a trader yesterday lunch time. She was saying "..the traders are concentrating on doing volume, trade so much left and right that they cannot see the direction (trend)"

So this morning overheard a trader say he was "short jan long mar long feb and short april" in relation to cpo futures. A prime example of not having a clue on 'direction'...

POS Msia, breakout into new highs?

10 min NQ futures

With the speculators (public) trapped selling into the lows, prices are driven up by the operator....

15 min fcpo, where did the speculators sell?

Tuesday, November 26, 2013

Gravitates down eventually...

Monday, November 25, 2013

17:30 on 25 Nov 2013, some data or opinion related to cpo just came out. You can tell that some parties are 'insiders' and manipulate the prices of fcpo prior to the data release.... Which is why the retail and normal speculator stands no chance in their speculative endeavours...

As usually the manipulation on the cash KLCI down 3 points from the last tick. Then again nothing legitimate as the trading mechanism set by the Exchange, so gotta wear it.(vested interests can manipulate the KLCI)

Pointing down, the 5 min timeframe...

5 min timeframe, on the up....

Hope he likes his Christmas wish

Insas Bhd, up 5.11% today....

Only idiots ask others for 'tips' on the stock market, and the bigger idiot gives them genuine tips... So when one of the other traders (who never bought stocks through the metereoric bull market rise) now wants to 'enter into stocks', he asked me. I just give the tip "Buy insas", which the typical response is "insas, nah, that stock never moves..."

Statistics show that most equity investors including professionals cannot beat thestock index. Studies have also shown that more than 80 % of day traders lose money mainly due to transaction costs and they select shares basedon hot tips. There are several reasons for their poor performance but  the most frequent mistake is ‘loss aversion’.  This is a psychological  obstacle which has been consistently affecting their performance  especially in view of the ups and downs that is the normal behavior of  the stock market.

KLK

The big cap plantation stocks KLK, FGV, Sime, IOICorp on 60 min charts....

With cpo prices soaring on 'supply' dropping....

Thursday, November 21, 2013

I overheard the following: One of the traders was telling another his 'opinion' of the cpo futures market, "If you go shot and go away for holiday, when you come back you can cover at huge profits below 2300"

Now what sort of risk parameters govern such an ego based strategy? Stop loss of 100, 200, 300 ticks???

This is why opinions are a fool's game. You should never ask someone else's opinion on the direction of the market, nor should you offer your own opinion to anyone else."

Insas Bhd. Time to buy back in?

When the big trader "only takes small profit" what does it indicate?
They are not doing well, losing money, so have to take whatever comes.

Like one bit trader yesterday, bought in the morning at 2550s and sold when the market gapped up on afternoon session opening at 2570s, 2560s. The market price is now 2630s....

KLCI after the 14 point advance is down 8 points today.... looks like the PNB window dressors done their job and now can go on holidays with their bonuses.

SBCCorp, after the rights/bonus issue....

FBM KLCI daily, seems to be on markup phase.

Plantation index...

KLCI closes up 14 above 1800. The 4 heavyweight plantation counters, Sime, IOICorp, Felda Global and KLK contributed about 7.4 points to that total...

KLCI advances in early trade but MAS slips in active trade - Business News | The Star Online

What are they paid the big bucks to do?

Say stuff like:

" BIMB Securities Research expects the market to trend sideways on Tuesday due to lack of fresh catalysts and advise investors to remain cautious on the increased volatility of the market."Expect to see immediate resistance at 1,795 to 1,800 while support at 1,790 to 1,785," it said."
