20110131 On the 30 min chart, FCPO futures is on a breakout to the upside from the triangle pattern...

20110131 FKLI Jan futures closed and settle around 1516.5., a nice recovery from the ugly opening this morning.

The opening looked scary, expectations were for indiscriminate selling due to fear, but the FBzM KLCI staged a rebound rally from the lows. As Larry Williams put it, markets go through cycles of Yin and Yang. When everything was Yang (full on bear) somehow womewhere buyers will emerby to balance it out with some Yin....

Japan 1-0 Australia







Missed chances cost the Soccerros dearly, as Japan's Tadanari Lee (who has Korean descent) scored in the 109th minute in extra time, as Japan lifted their 4th Asia Cup trophy. The goal was spectacular demonstration of tecnical skil, a first time volley from a left wing cross, worthy of winning the Asia Cup final.

As in trading,you don't win them all. Australia came into the final undefeated, having scored 13 goals and conceded just one. Losing is also a fact in football, one just needs to deal with them. To trade and be successful then, one must 'learn to ose money first before going hell bent to win.' In other words, learn to take stop losses....

Li Na was the first Asian and Chinese individual to get into the final of one of tennis' Grand Slam tournaments, but it was Kim Cijesters prevailed in 3 sets of great tennis 3-6 6-3 6-3..... It is also Kim's first Australian Open title. Tomorrow will it be Britain's first individual Grand Slam tournament winner since 1934? Andy Murray will square off against Novak Djokovic, the 20008 Australian Open champion in the men's singles final.

Australia 6-0 Uzbekistan

On Australia Day, the Socceroos deafeated Uzbekistan 6-0 to move into the final of the 2011 AFC Asian Cup. Well done! Now, on to the final v Jaapan, who defeated Korea Republic on penalties 3-0 after it was tied up at 2-2 with extra time.

Japan 3-2 Qatar

New star Shinji Kagawa scored 2 goals and set up another, in the 3-2 win over hosts Qatar, as Japan moves into the 2011 Asian Cup semi finals. Kagawa looks the part, which is why Man Utd is showing interest to sign him from Dortmund.

In the other match Uzbekistan defeated Jordan 2-1.

Australian Open tennis

The youngest player in the men's draw at 18 years old, rising Aussie star Bernard Tomic sets up third-round showdown with No.1 seed Rafael Nadal after beating No.31 seed Feliciano Lopez in straight sets Looka s good player, with a cool head and calm style on court.



Former women's world No. 1 Jelena Jankovic failed to reach the third round at the first Grand Slam of the season here on Thursday by losing to China's unseeded Peng Shuai in straight sets.

The 25-year-old Serbian, seventh seed of the women's singles, became the highest-ranked woman to be out of the top 32.

Leading 6-1 in seven previous matches against her opponent, Jankovic was toppled 7-6 (3), 6-3 in one hour and 50 minutes, equalling her earliest finishes in the nine appearances at the Melbourne Park and recording the earliest one since 2007.
