It will be the West London derby between Van Persie's Arsenal and Drogba's Chelsea.

The PGA Tour is in town.... at the CIMB Asia Pacific Classic. Big hitting Jeff Overton is the one to watch. The prize purse is USD6 million, which sure puts to rest the myth that CIMB was going to the dungeons, the way the price was sold down below RM7.00 a share last month...

20111029 A look back at some of the stocks we got ito on Oct 12, 2011. One stellar performer, one languid blue chip bank and one in a neglected industry, losing momentum... but can't complain though. But in reality there is no secret, whatever stock one is into would've made $. The point is to be 'in it to win it', and not having the doomsdayer mentality to hold cash and gold, hunkering down for the financial armageddon...

20111028 Technically, the FBM KLCI has closed above the 50 sma for 7 of the last 8 trading days, with the shorter term ma crossed upwards, which is bullish. And there was another thing to take from the 66 point drop charade last Friday on the KLCI, that is after a sharp drop the index goes up for the next few days...

Well, fine examples of selfish Greeks, whose free riding on the rest of the Europea Union got the world into the 'debt crisis' predicament. And they are still so high and mighty to say "It is not our fault". The Irish and Portugese are taking their medicine and have no complaints...

Sun Tzu says, "Greed is the fundamental cause of defeat". If one craves materialistic stuff, for show and face in the society, it may lead to defeat in trading the markets. Lead the simple and comfortable life with minimal materialism, and one can find success in the markets, as one is contented. And after a profitable week, one can avoid 'forcing the trade' in a sideways market, on this Friday afternoon...

20111027 Subscribing to the view of having a bullish bias, as long as the FKLI futures held above the uptrendline on the 30 min chart has its rewards. At the very least one can hold longs longer and shorts shorter term, and stay out of trouble...

20111027 Price spikes, not uncommon in today''s markets. Was told by SGX trader on November MSCI Taiwan index futures price spike of over 100 ticks. So the 66 point plunge on the KLCI cash index last Friday was a 'common' event.

Meanwhile, daily cash KLCI is holding above the 50 sma, a bullish stance...

The Solution to the European Debt Crisis

20111026 It seems the banks are playing hard ball. Like cry babies, they split the milk, and still want to drink the contaminated milk. The banks' incompetece led to them carrying a selfish nation's debt binge in the form of Greek bonds. Now they are unwilling to take the losses in the form of write offs. Why? They are selfish buggers, only concerned by their bonuses, write offs leads to losses, which affects the employee's bonuses....

20111026 Just like a treasure map, 'X' marks the spot of golden treasure. The manipulator who sold hundreds of contracts at the closing last minute of FCPO trading on Monday, had to endure over 40 ticks of drawdown. Granted, with the ag futures down significantly last night they may still come out ahead but that is not the point. To try to dominate the market using size.... 2 outcomes are probable, either reap big rewards or take huge losses...

20111026 SPI futures covers gap down.... for the jagoh kampong ('champion of the village' in Malay) out there. No matter how big they are, they are still champions in the village. My trading partner has joined SGX as an electronic local, trading simsci futures.... a small step but a positive one.

20111024 FCPO 5 min, this is when the big shark ets the ikan bilis (those who were long).... Tomorrow is the Export data by the cargo surveyors. The big shark takes their short positions, on 'inside info' of the export figures, or else pays the cargo surveyors to doctor the figures. A far fetched hypothesis? You be the judge...

20111022 Well, this is just not good enough, the text says "Bursa did not say if the trades were made deliberately or by accident. - Reuters"

For transparency and market integrity, there should be full disclosure on such irregular activities, which in this case is very material. The full force of the Business rules should be evoked against the broker.
