So you want to trade the FKLI futures

One thing you need to know is that the FKLI futures is a strange animal, it does the opposite of regional indices. It not only does this, but it does so consistently.... Caveat Emptor.

20091208 1020 FKLI futures 2 min chart. Nowadays the market moves slowly and takes days for the pattern to play out.

20091207 1638 Cable (gbpusd) 4hr and 15 min. Short bias...

20091207 1006 The cash FBM KLCI had technical glitches, resulting in the index values not broadcasted to the market. However, trading continued, with no announcement form the exchange to this effect. Do you call this ISO9000 quality assurance.

Anyway later after some traders made phone calls on the issue to the exchange, the exchange broadcast it on the workstation 'exchange news section'. Another announcement later on said that Bursa would broadcast the exchange value every 10mins on bursa website..... but ther was no mention of the actual url, so interested people now become expert on navigating the bursa website, since they try to find this 10 min update.

Need to improve how they do things....

20091204 FCPO futures Feb 10 contract daily chart, the uptrend is intact... Throw in what I think was the chart of the week, the Nikkei 225 index futures.
