FKLI Futures Trading - Bursamalaysia
This will chronicle trading in the FKLI & FCPO futures. If you don't like what you see/read in this blog, just surf away. These opinions are our personal opinions and just a record of our thoughts..."In evolution, it’s not the biggest, the fiercest nor the smartest that survive, it’s the one that changes the fastest.” I.e. the key word is to adapt the trading style to the markets, until it stops working

Swansea 4-2 Reading
What a match, 3-0 half time lead by Swansea. Then a fightback by reading in the 2nd half getting the score to 3-2, they then hit the post and had a shot blocked in the six yard box which could have levelled the score. Unfortunately a rash challenge led to the penalty that took Swansea into the EPL, joining Norwich and QPR next season.

Leave emotion out of trading
Had a chatbox chat with somebody going by the name PJ Trader, who sort of boasted this morning he traded 18 times, 100% winners. I assume it was in cpo futures. Looks like serotonin hormone built up and euphoria starting to set in. Euphoria is the trader's greatest enemy. What happens is that usually there is brashness and overconfidence starts impacting on discipline and the profit from the trades usually will disappear in the next trade, if not the next 2 to 3 trades. Well, he did say "Siok la, make 100% winners" So it is important to maintain discipline at all times in day trading. Oh, and "don't count your profits before the day ends." (see The Losers Guide)

News, Fundamentals, opinions basically bullshit
3 weeks ago, the Goldman sachs recommended to sell commodities, now the Goldman Sachs recommends to buy. As Tom Cruise in Top Gun says: "It's bullshit", which is exactly what fundamental data, expert opinions are when it comes to trading. Price action is key. Oh and btw, there are many experts been bearish for many weeks on the klci, yet it still is within the trading range....
