Last month my wife' HTC phone had a problem of being passworf locked, after too many attempts. So i took it to tht HTC service centre at Plaza Berjaya. Was informed that the only way was to do a hard reset on the Android device, wiping out the data. Gave them the go ahead, problem fixed ny the HTC service centre staff, NOCHARGE.

Tonight went to the Samsung service centre at Low Yat, same problem, but with Samsung Galaxy S2. The staff informed that to do hard reset and reprogramming would cost RM20, and an extra RM80 because the phone was a Sibgapore sold phone. In addition, it would take one day, phone to be picked up tomorrow. The HTC matter was resolved on the spot, without charge.

Result? I will never buy a Samsung phone or product again.
