Malaysia lifted the AFF Suzuki Cup last night, losing to Indonesia 2-1, but wining the two leg final 4-2 on aggregate. Heroes on the night were goalkeeper Khairul Fahmi, who saved a 15min penalty, and Safee Sali, who slammed in a left foot shot in the 2nd half, in classic counter attacking football. Just like the Greeks in 2004 Euro Championship win, Malaysia has refined the art of resolute defence and counter attacking football, kudos to the coach Rajagopal. What is interesting is the average age of the team is 23, with the backline 4 20.

The PM has declared tomorrow a public holiday, so today is settlement for FKLI futures.
