It was a tough ask for the Wallabies to back up after defeating South Africa in the quarter finals. And so it proved with the All Blacks prevailing over Australia 20-6. The kiwis were dominant and set up the win with a forward power display, thoroughly deserved the win. Aussies suffered again from weakness in the scrum and set play.

NZ now meets France in the final next week. France are clear underdogs.

France beat Wales 9-8, with Walse playing the best part of 60 mins without their captain, who was shown a red card after a dangerous spear tackle on a French player. They blame the referee for the loss, but rules are fules, for the safety of the players, dangerous play should not be condoned.
