Nothing is right or wrong, it only matters if it works

Stanley Kroll once sayd, in response to a question of whether revealing his 'system', will get others onto it, thereby ruining the 'system'.

""Not at all. First, it is not a "system". It's just an extremely useful tool. Successful trading still depends on someone making a final decision on what to buy and sell, and where to do it. Furthermore, I doubt whether anyone will try using this approach. Commodity traders, as a group are an egostical bunch, and each one figures that his/her particular method is any good."

It does ring true. I was talking to a fellow trader today on the FCPO futures. Basically he was commenting on the foolishness of running the market up almost 80 points from the low of 3214.... when 'the market was obviously bearish.' Well, no approach to the market is perfect. After hitting 3200 today, fcpo futures actually closed 3256, a 17 point advance. Prices will go up or down, a trend needs to be clarified in the context of the timeframe being traded....

There is no right or wrong approach to trade, only what works. Be humble and take the market as it travels.
