Hi, there..

I heard that you are a local on FKLI & FCPO. Just wondering, what is the advantages of being a local despite the low cost incurred in trading? Besides, what is the procedure and qualification to be a local in Bursa? Care to share? Thanks a lot!

To be a local, I think you need:

1 to pass the SC exams, would be the same for FBR qualification
2 3 years experience in the industry or related field, this is SC requirement. My personal view is that this is too stringent. Local are clients and take their own risk without 'big brother' looking over their shoulder.

Besides low comm, there is the scratch trade concession, and maybe lower margin requirements.(maintainance margin only probably)
